We're delighted to announce that Lucy has recently joined our team as an Account Executive!

As standard practise with our new additions at CAKE, we spent five minutes finding out more about Lucy, so read on to find out about the all-important matters, such as her favourite biscuit and go-to playlist on Spotify...

What are three words you would use to describe CAKE?
Diligent, refreshing and trustworthy.

What is the coolest thing about your job?
The people, sounds cringe but it’s true, the opportunities and the diversity of my role.

What's your favourite brand?
We Are Tala – A very new brand, but I think it’s a huge step in the right direct into making the world more sustainable.

Your favourite campaign ever, and why?
The Miss Guided #MakeYourMark campaign really stood out to me. Especially when they introduced mannequins into their stores that had stretch marks, birth marks and vitiligo. I myself have vitiligo so it was really great to see such a big brand build awareness of it.

One piece of technology you couldn’t live without?
Hmm… this is hard. I think it would have to be my camera, I love looking back at old pictures and reminiscing in great memories.

Favourite account on Instagram?
I have a few that stand out, @coppafeelpeople is one of my favourites. They do incredible work and raise so much awareness for breast cancer. Others that I like are @gymshark and @chessieking. Both accounts make you want to be the best you can be and feel great in your body.

Are you messy or organised?
Organised. Almost too organised.

 Favourite film?
Love Actually – it warms my heart.

What is your favourite quote?
I have a few. The first is simple - “Work hard, be kind, and amazing things will happen.” The other is “Love is all around.” taken from the song by The Troggs.

What was the last book you read?
Making Evil – I’m one of those people who really enjoys dissecting psychopaths’ brains.

What is your go to playlist on Spotify?
All Out 80’s – Can’t beat it. Although, I do enjoy the ‘A Star is Born’ soundtrack too.

Tea or coffee?
Whichever. I am very inconsistent when it comes to this. No one ever knows what I will go for.

And the one you’ve all been waiting for… What is your favourite biscuit?
I think I have to go for the Bahlsen to be the ultimate favourite. However, going for something a little less fancy, chocolate fingers are a huge winner for me.
