More work for Asahi Europe
Following the success of our work for premium beer company, Asahi Europe last year, we recently got the call-up to complete another project for them!
With a portfolio including global and national beer brands, Peroni Nastro Azuro, Meantime London Lager, Fuller’s, Grolsch Premium Pilsner, Fuller’s and Asahi Super Dry, it goes without saying, we loved being given the opportunity to work with them again.
They needed their responsible drinking website (aboutalcohol.com) redesigned and rebuilt, which is their platform for consumers to easily access a range of insightful information on responsible drinking.
As a leading alcohol brand, Asahi Europe works together with various organisations and stakeholders to tackle irresponsible alcohol consumption. This new website is part of this initiative and provides information on safe, legal, and responsible drinking; topics covered across the site include drinking and driving, underage drinking, alcohol during pregnancy and all other forms of irresponsible alcohol consumption.
We worked closely with the team to understand their objectives and vision for the revised website. The primary purpose of the work was to improve the user experience across the site as the previous site had fairly complicated navigation. The design was a few years old, so it was important for us to redesign it with a mobile first mindset and ensure the improved navigation worked effectively across all devices, which was an issue with the previous site.
Design-wise, they wanted to retain the minimal, clean route that was seen with the existing site, but of course we still improved this where we could. Our final version made improvements to all of the client’s target areas and retained the familiarity that they wanted to achieve.

The website also features a series of downloadable factsheets on topics such as binge drinking, drinking and driving, and pregnancy, and a section on frequently asked questions about drinking alcohol.
